Ethics of action, professional integrity and responsibility

A blessing ceremony for the premises of FS Engineering’s Rome headquarters was officiated by Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, Archpriest of the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter’s in the Vatican, Vicar General of His Holiness, and President of the Fabric of Saint Peter.

Strongly supported by the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of FS Engineering Dario Lo Bosco, and by the Board of Directors, the President Laura Martiniello, and the executive team, the ceremony provided an opportunity to reflect on the deepest meaning of work and on the role that values such as the ethics of action, integrity, and responsibility play in the day-to-day operations of the Company.

"FS Engineering, thanks to the excellence and expertise of the women and men who work here with pride and passion, and a multidisciplinary approach focused on process digitalisation, advanced BIM (Building Information Modelling) platforms, patents, and hi-tech systems, is at the country's service every day for the delivery of major public works and sustainable development," Mr Lo Bosco said. "However, there are moments like today that enrich our work with a deeper meaning and strengthen our sense of belonging to the professional community of FS Group."

The ceremony focused on the core values of cohesion, respect, and responsibility, highlighting the importance of building a human-centred professional community capable of putting spirit of service at its heart.

“It’s not just about designing and delivering complex infrastructure projects," Mr Lo Bosco added. "But striving every day to build a professional community capable of combining skills, values, and responsibility, to foster the development of local communities through the cross-disciplinary integration of knowledge."

The ceremony also highlighted the ongoing journey of FS Engineering as a top player in technological and digital innovation, including its contribution to the creation of the digital model of Saint Peter's Basilica.

In thanking Cardinal Gambetti, Mr Lo Bosco emphasised that the values of cooperation and responsibility are core elements of FS Engineering's daily operations, as it strives to generate sustainable and long-lasting development for future generations, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and in synergy with the FS Group.

Confirming a path of excellence founded on a deep, shared sense of responsibility, the event was attended by distinguished guests, representatives of key institutions, and the FS Group. Among others, Chief Executive Officer Lo Bosco expressed his gratitude to Alfredo Storto, Chief of Staff to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT); Massimo Sessa, President of the Supreme Council of Public Works; Giuseppe Inghingolo, Chief Corporate Affairs, Communication & Sustainability Officer of the FS Group; Gianpiero Strisciuglio, Chief Executive Officer of Trenitalia; Andrea Ronchi, President of Ferservizi; Mario Antonio Scino, General Counsel of the FS Group; Paolo Crisafi, National President of Remind; and, virtually, to all the colleagues who work every day from our 16 offices throughout Italy and 15 locations worldwide, driven by the highest technical expertise and sense of responsibility.
