FS Engineering launches its ISO 50001 certification process

FS Engineering has taken a decisive step towards optimising consumption and enhancing teamwork. On 3 March 2026, the company launched Stage 1 of the Energy Management System (EMS) certification according to the CEI UNI EN ISO 50001 at its Rome headquarters.

The meeting marked the official start of the process that will lead to the recognition of the company's EMS compliance. During the day, the certifier SGS ICS Italia Srl analysed the relevant documentation and assessed the consistency of the system, with regard to regulatory requirements, laying the foundations for the next stage.

Stage 1 involved verifying the scope of application, the completeness of the information and the maturity of the organisation in implementing the EMS. At the end of the month, Stage 2 will focus on the more operational and applicative aspects, getting to the heart of the company's procedures.

Particular attention was paid to the energy consumption of the company’s headquarters in Rome and the company's vehicle fleet. Through energy analysis, which identifies significant aspects, the certifier was also able to examine the improvement objectives outlined by the company.

The positive outcome of this first stage provides a solid and motivating basis for continuing along the certification path. This intermediate milestone confirms FS Engineering's commitment to promoting conscious, responsible and future-oriented energy management.
