EAST-WEST HIGH-SPEED RAIL LINE

FS Engineering was appointed by the Algerian Ministry of Transport to develop the project for reorganising the entire Algerian railway sector and define the essential tools for infrastructure development, in accordance with European regulatory standards.

The study has identified two high-speed corridor options (one for passengers only and one for both passengers and freight) in northern Algeria, for connecting the east and west of the country (and the borders with Tunisia and Morocco, respectively) via the country’s main cities, involving nine stations.

The project has been completed.
