“PUNE-MUMBAI-AHMEDABAD” HIGH-SPEED CORRIDOR
In 2010, within the high-speed rail sector, FS Engineering, operating in a joint venture with the local engineering consultancy RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service Ltd.) and French engineering firm Systra, delivered the pre-feasibility study for the new Pune – Mumbai – Ahmedabad corridor on behalf of Indian Railways. The proposed 650 km high-speed alignment is designed for an operational speed of 350 km/h, connecting Pune in the state of Maharashtra and Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat.
The project has been successfully completed.
