EXPRESS RAIL LINK BETWEEN ESENBOĞA AND ANKARA
FS Engineering was responsible for the design of the new high-speed rail link between Esenboga International Airport and Ankara, a strategic infrastructure project forming part of the wider modernisation and development masterplan for the Turkish capital's transport network and national rail system.
The commission encompassed the feasibility study along with the preliminary and detailed design of the rail link. The scheme is characterised by an alignment running predominantly subsurface for approximately 27 km and the construction of eight intermediate stations serving one of the city’s primary urban growth corridors.

The high-speed rail link between Esenboğa Airport and Ankara is a strategically vital scheme designed to enhance airport connectivity and integrate the rail network seamlessly into the capital’s urban transport system. Spanning the entire project lifecycle, FS Engineering's contribution supported both national and local authorities in delivering a sustainable, efficient infrastructure solution geared toward regional development, showcasing the company's proven track record in delivering major international rail projects.
The contract work commenced in May 2016 and was completed in November 2020.
