The presentation of the Lions International Award to the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Dario Lo Bosco, during the “Permanent Forum of the Mediterranean and Black Sea for the Future of Young People”, confirms FS Engineering’s role among the leading engineering companies at both national and international level. The award further strengthens the Company’s positioning as the FS Group’s platform of excellence in the fields of infrastructure, digital and sustainable engineering.
On this occasion, FS Engineering made a significant contribution to promoting green and high‑tech development and cooperation among peoples, in line with the guidelines of the Government and the FS Group, with a particular focus on younger generations.
These objectives are even more relevant in the current geopolitical, economic and energy context of the Euro‑Mediterranean area.
Mobility networks bring territories closer together and connect countries, also facilitating relationships among young people. The role of advanced design, digitalisation and technological innovation enhances these interconnections, optimising safety and quality of life while supporting economic and social progress.
“FS Engineering brings the pride of Italian engineering to the world, and together with its teams works alongside the FS Group to contribute to a technologically advanced future, always upholding the ethics of action,” Lo Bosco emphasised. “Today, engineering is called upon not only to build infrastructure, but above all to build relationships, trust and opportunities, through continuous dialogue among different technical, legal, social and cultural fields.”
The recognition awarded by Lions International highlights a vision of enterprise that sees engineering as a tool for cohesion and social and economic growth, capable of generating shared value in the key areas of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, as well as in the international contexts in which the FS Group operates.
This vision guides the Company’s strategic choices in exporting Made in Italy excellence worldwide. Indeed, in the recently published volume “Storie di successo” of Italian engineering—officially presented by ANSA and Confindustria—Lo Bosco, together with the women and men of FS Engineering, acts as an “ambassador” of Italian engineering in the world, serving communities.
The Company’s path of growth and strengthening, with its continuous activity in 15 countries across five continents, is now fully recognised in the main industry rankings, which place FS Engineering among the leaders of EU engineering in terms of size, project complexity and innovation capacity. This includes advanced BIM systems up to 8D, “smart” construction sites and operational control rooms that are unique in Europe, designed to optimise site safety and risk management monitoring.
All this is underpinned by a new vision of “ethical” artificial intelligence, which always places FS Italiane people at the centre, in order to achieve successful outcomes in the service of the national system and the international community.
