FS Engineering Takes Center Stage at the BRIDGE School of Policy on Connectivity and Infrastructure

Expertise, innovation, and international cooperation at the heart of the dialogue between Italy and Central Asian countries

From 22 to 26 June 2026, FS Engineering participated as a technical partner in the School of Policy on Connectivity and Infrastructures, an initiative organized by Sapienza University of Rome within the framework of the BRIDGE – Building Resilient Institutional Dialogue for Governance and Education project, promoted by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).

The programme brought together public officials, institutional representatives, and experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, with the aim of exploring key topics related to infrastructure planning, multimodal connectivity, sustainable logistics, and the digital transformation of transport systems.

In this context, FS Engineering shared its extensive technical and managerial expertise developed through the design and delivery of strategic infrastructure projects in Italy and abroad. The company contributed to the programme through specialist lectures, hands-on workshops, operational case studies, and discussions focused on the challenges of future mobility.

FS Engineering professionals addressed a range of key topics, including infrastructure planning and programming, sustainability and climate resilience, intermodality and transport hubs, the application of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Twin methodologies, complex project governance, and project management in international environments.

The initiative provided an important platform for dialogue between the Italian infrastructure ecosystem and the public administrations of Central Asian countries, fostering the exchange of experience and best practices while promoting new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of mobility, connectivity, and sustainable development.

The positive feedback received from participants and the institutions involved confirms the value of the BRIDGE School of Policy as an effective instrument for technical diplomacy, knowledge transfer, and international cooperation, strengthening ties between Italy and Central Asia through the promotion of specialist expertise and the engineering excellence of FS Engineering.
