Return - The Multi-Risk Science for Resilient Communities under a Changing Climate initiative was established as an Extended Partnership financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), with the aim of strengthening national research networks specialising in environmental, natural, and anthropogenic hazard management, promoting integrated approaches to enhance the resilience of local communities in the face of accelerating climate change.

SPOKE 6 TS2 “Multi-Risk Resilience of Critical Infrastructures” – This activity aims to define, develop, and test novel approaches to risk assessment and mitigation for vital national infrastructure, especially with regard to multi-hazard resilience and safeguarding the continuity of essential services. |
SPOKE 8 DS8 “Diagonal Spoke” – This Spoke focuses on defining innovative methodologies, validated against major case studies, to generate high-resolution time-space forecasts of climatic, meteorological, hydrological, and marine variables. These tools are instrumental in risk assessment and the definition of effective mitigation and adaptation strategies. |
