Specifically, the company has developed a robust framework for analysing and monitoring the territorial impact of its schemes, leading to the formulation of an internationally recognised methodology tailored to the unique context of rail infrastructure. In parallel, FS Engineering’s approach integrates the principles of Social LCA (Life Cycle Assessment). This framework is used on an experimental basis within European research projects to assess innovative materials and products, while informing our preliminary analyses and the selection of sustainability indicators for major infrastructure developments.
